Protestantský fundamentalismus jeho vznik a vývoj

Abstract

This work deals with the origins of the fundamentalist movement in order to establish a theoretical base for further studies of the impacts among Czech re- formed churches. It describes how calvinism, puritanism and pietism established general course in which the spirituality on the new continent where to unfold. It further shows how dispensationalism, culture of holiness and events of great awakenings created a major gap between America and Europe where the influ- ence of enlightenment was much greater. Several major figures in the fundamen- talist movement are described together with the most impactful controversies. Throughout the work examples are shown of religious groups that are influenced by the ideas of fundamentalism that has made its way after the opening of gates after the Velvet Revolution and also through the means of internet and new me- dia.

Tato práce se zabývá původem fundamentalistického hnutí a klade si za cíl vytvořit teoretickou základnu pro další studie dopadů jeho vlivu mezi reformo- vanými církvemi. Popisuje proces, kterým kalvinismus, puritánství a pietismus nastolily všeobecný směr, v němž se má rozvinout duchovní život na novém kontinentu. Dále ukazuje, jak dispenzacionalismus v kultuře svatosti a události Velkého probuzení vytvořily velkou propast mezi Amerikou a Evropou, kde byl velký vliv osvícenství. Následně je popsáno několik významných osobností fun- damentalistického hnutí společně s největším dopadem kontroverzí. V průběhu práce jsou uváděny příklady náboženských skupin, které jsou ovlivněny myšlen- kami fundamentalismu, který proniká i k nám díky otevření hranic po sametové revoluci, a to hlavně prostřednictvím internetu a nových médií.
