Komentovaný překlad: Erstes Buch - Die Waffen nieder! od Berthy von Suttner

Abstract

Cílem této diplomové práce je vytvořit komentovaný překlad první kapitoly (Erstes Buch) knihy Die Waffen nieder! (1889) autorky Berthy von Suttner, který je funkční v současné době. Dílo bylo už jednou přeloženo do češtiny pod názvem Odzbrojte! (1896). První částí diplomové práce je samotný překlad první kapitoly románu do češtiny. Druhou část tvoří odborný komentář sestávající z několika podkapitol. V úvodu komentáře je zdůvodněna volba předlohy a předložena zevrubná překladatelská analýza. Další část komentáře předkládá strategie řešení překladatelských problémů, překladatelské posuny a charakteristiku skupinového překladu. The aim of this Master Thesis is to present an annotated translation of the first chapter of the novel Die Waffen nieder! (1889) from Bertha von Suttner that is presently functional. The novel was already translated under the title Odzbrojte! (1896). The first part of this Master Thesis contains the Czech translation of the first chapter from the novel itself. The second part, which is a translation commentary, divided into subchapters. The beginning of the translation commentary explains the choice of the original text and presents a detailed translation analysis. The next part of the translation commentary contains information about the strategy of solving translation problems, translation shifts and collaborative translation.
