Pneumatologie Didyma Slepého a její kontext

Abstract

1 Abstrakt Práce se pokouší zhodnotit přínos Didyma Alexandrijského na poli pneumatologie a zasadit jeho učení do kontextu dobové theologie a alexandrijské tradice. Pneumatologie je jedním z hlavních Didymových témat, ale jeho jediným dochovaným dílem, které je tomuto tématu přímo věnováno a jsme si u něj jisti Didymovým autorstvím, je spis O Duchu Svatém, který je středem zájmu této práce, a je možná historicky prvním svého druhu. Spis se však dochoval pouze v Jeronýmově latinském překladu a není tedy jednoduché na jeho základě plně rekonstruovat původní řeckou podobu, a tak i původní Didymovo učení. První část práce je věnovaná Didymovu životu a dílu. Jsou v ní představeny jeho formování, studium, metody výuky v rámci alexandrijské katechetické školy, theologická a exegetická činnost a rovněž jeho asketický postoj k životu, a jeho posmrtné odsouzení v rámci protiórigenistických bojů. Didymovo dílo je pak rozděleno na dogmatická a exegetická díla, přičemž druhá jmenovaná byla obohacena nálezem kodexů v egyptské Tuře v roce 1941. Nalezená díla se tak stala novým podnětem ke studiu Didymova učení a metod. Druhá část rozebírá především triadologické spory během 4. století s důrazem na pneumatologii a spory ohledně božství Ducha Svatého. Jako hlavní milníky jsou brány 1. a 2. všeobecný sněm. 1 Abstract The thesis tries to evaluate the contribution of Didymus of Alexandria in the field of pneumatology and situate it in the context of theology of his contemporaries and the Alexandrian tradition. Pneumatology is one of the main themes of Didymus, but the only existing treatise, which is directly dedicated to this theme and we are sure of his authorship, is On the Holy Spirit, This treatise, possibly the historicaly first of its kind, thus represents the the focus of this thesis. It has been preserved only in Latin translation of Jerome which renders the Greek text and Didymus' original teachings complicated to fully recover. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to Didymus life and work. It presents his formation, studies, methods of teaching in the framework of Alexandrian catechetist school, theological and exegetical activities, his ascetic attitude to life, and his condemnation after his death in the framework of anti-origenist struggle. Then the Didymus writings are then devided into dogmatic and exegetical works, the latter of which was enriched by the finds of codexes in Egyptian Tura in 1941.
