Vliv soft power v rusko-ukrajinském konfliktu a její odraz v médiích. Případová studie Russia Today a Parlamentních listů

Abstract

Práce se zaměří na vliv soft power, kterou bude operacionalizovat především jako ruské propagandistické aktivity tematizující rusko-ukrajinský konflikt v době, kdy Rusko anektovalo Krymský poloostrov. Její empirické jádro bude komparací zpravodajského pokrytí počátků rusko- ukrajinské krize ze strany mezinárodní mediální sítě placené ruskou vládou Russia Today a českého bulvárního internetového portálu Parlamentní listy, který bývá ve veřejné debatě často zařazován mezi proruská či "dezinformační" média. V teoretické časti se práce zaměří na koncepty "soft power" (zejména v návaznosti na Josepha Nye) a sharp power a jejich využitelnost pro analýzu ruské propagandy. Autorka se zaměří zejména na to, do jaké míry jsou narativy používané ve vysílání Russia Today využívány v příspěvcích Parlamentních listů a zda lze toto české médium považovat za proruské, či nikoliv. Následně se po stručné charakteristice konfliktu a vybraných médií práce zaměří na porovnání diskurzů těchto médií ve dvou krátkých časových úsecích. V této analýze se autorka zaměří na narativní konstrukce, míru legitimity a pomocí kombinace kvalitativní a kvantitativní analýzy bude zkoumat rozdíl mezi diskurzem Russia Today a Parlamentních listů a jejich vzájemné prolínání. The work will focus on the influence of soft power, which will be operationalized mainly as Russian propaganda activities during the Russian-Ukrainian conflict at the time when Russia annexed the Crimean Peninsula. Its empirical core will be a comparison of the news coverage of the beginnings of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis by the international media network paid by the Russian government Russia Today and the Czech tabloid parliamentary website Parlamentní listy, which is often included in public debate as pro-Russian or "disinformation" media. In the theoretical part, the work will focus on the concept of "soft power" (especially in relation to Joseph Nye) and sharp power, and their usefulness for the analysis of Russian propaganda. The author will focus mainly on the extent to which the narratives used in the Russia Today broadcast are used in the contributions of Parlamentní listy and whether this Czech media can be considered as pro-Russian or not.
