Šíření tzv. fake news o stěžejních událostech roku 2020 mezi YouTubery a Twich streamery

Abstract

Object of this thesis is to compare the broadcast content of selected YouTubers and Twitch streamers related to the main events of 2020 with how traditional media organizations such as television, press or Internet news servers inform the public about the same topics. It also deals with the possible influence of opinions, especially of young viewers, who represent the target audience for most YouTubers and Twitch streamers. Based on a comparison of the coverage of selected events, the work also attempts to assess whether or not leading Czech YouTubers and Twitch streamers can be considered relevant sources of information in crisis situations.

Tato práce porovnává obsah vysílání vybraných YouTuberů a Twitch streamerů týkající se hlavních událostí roku 2020 s tím, jakým způsobem o stejných tématech veřejnost informují tradiční mediální organizace jako televize, tisk či internetové zpravodajské servery. Zabývá se také možným ovlivňováním názorů zejména mladých diváků, kteří pro většinu YouTuberů a Twitch streamerů představují cílové publikum. Na základě srovnání pokrytí vybraných událostí se práce rovněž pokouší o zhodnocení, zda se v krizových situacích dají přední čeští YouTubeři a Twitch streameři považovat za relevantní zdroje informací či nikoliv.
