Integrace mládeže z dětského domova do společnosti

Abstract

The thesis "Integration of children from the Children's Home in to the society" is focused on young people leaving the Children's Home. The main objective was to describe the possibilities which are available to those young people leaving Children's Home including the descriptions of the factors which influenced these possibilities. This work targets the initial position of young people during the integration into the society as well as the ability of the Children's Homes to prepare them for this integration adequately. The theoretical part focuses on the background provided to these children by the state and on the projects raised from the initiative of the nongovernmental nonprofit organizations to fill in the gap in the assistance to these children. The practical part summarizes the conclusions from the theoretical part by finding out how all these processes work in practice. The interviews with young people form Children's Homes and from Halfway Houses have brought the interesting survey about these people feelings about their leaving the current house, and their possible doubts, also if there is a real support of the educators from the Children's Homes. Bakalářská práce "Integrace mládeže z dětského domova do společnosti" se zabývá problematikou odchodu mladých lidí z dětského domova. Cílem této práce je popsat možnosti, které se dětem z domova při odchodu naskýtají, včetně faktorů, které tyto možnosti omezují. V práci je zkoumána výchozí pozice mladých lidí při jejich integraci do života mimo ústav a schopnost dětského domova na tuto integraci adekvátně připravit. Teoretická část práce se zabývá zázemím, které je pro tyto děti vytvářeno ze strany státu a projekty pro děti, které vznikly z iniciativy nestátních neziskových organizací jako reakce na nedostatečnou podporu těchto dětí. Praktická část práce obsahuje ověřování závěrů z teoretické části práce prostřednictvím zjišťování, jak opatření přijímané pro tuto skupinu dětí fungují v praxi. V rozhovorech s mladými lidmi z dětských domovů a Domů na půli cesty je zjišťováno, jak prožívají (prožívali) odchod, čeho se obávají (obávali) a jestli cítí (cítili) podporu ze strany vychovatelů v domově. V závěru práce docházím k názoru, že ze strany státu chybí ucelená péče o bývalé svěřence dětských domovů a kvalita přípravy na život se velmi liší v jednotlivých domovech.
