Vztahy druhé a třetí generace očima vnoučat

Abstract

The point of this thesis is to explore the way of perception of the relationships between the second and the third generation in a family by grandchildren. These relationships make up an important part of the family; nevertheless they are not given an adequate research attention. The reason for this is often the perspective of disintegration of wider family relationships along with the evolution from traditional to modern society, which is not backed up by data, as the author shows in the theoretic part. Though the meaning of intergenerational relationships changes, they are still embedded into the relationships in nuclear family, which results from surveys of intergenerational relationships carried out here, in the Czech Republic. What will be important for the future form of intergenerational relationships are norms and patterns for the formation of these relationships internalized by the youngest generation. That is why the author focuses her analysis on the perception of the relationships between the second and the third generation in the eyes of grandchildren. Tato práce pojednává o tom, jak vnoučata vnímají vztahy druhé a třetí generace v rodině. Tyto vztahy jsou významnou součástí rodiny, avšak není jim věnována dostatečná výzkumná pozornost. Důvodem je často perspektiva rozpadu širších rodinných vztahů s vývojem společnosti od tradiční po moderní, která ale není podložena daty, jak autorka ukazuje v teoretické části. Z výsledků provedených výzkumů mezigeneračních vztahů u nás vyplývá, že ačkoliv se jejich význam mění, jsou stále zasazeny do vztahů v nukleární rodině. Pro budoucí podobu mezigeneračních vztahů bude důležité, jaké normy a vzory pro utváření mezigeneračních vztahů internalizuje nejmladší generace. Proto se tedy autorka v analýze zaměřuje na vnímání vztahů druhé a třetí generace očima vnoučat. Vychází z narativních rozhovorů s vnoučaty na téma prarodiče a metodou zakotvené teorie dospívá ke třem různým kontextům vnímání vztahů očima vnoučat - vnímání vztahů jako skvělých, špatných a normálně dobrých. Dále ukazuje, jakým způsobem spolu v jednotlivých kontextech souvisí vnímání vztahu s dalšími jevy - především s kontakty, pomocí a konflikty - a nakonec vyslovuje hypotézy o těchto souvislostech.
