Norský znakový jazyk - historie a současnost

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá historií a současným postavením norského znakového jazyka, jednoho z nejstarších a největších menšinových jazyků v Norsku. Cílem práce je podat chronologický přehled hlavních historických událostí spojených s norskou komunitou neslyšících a jejich jazykem. Práce se zabývá prvními zmínkami o norských neslyšících a jejich komunikaci v psaných pramenech, utvářením norského znakového jazyka v první škole pro neslyšící v 1. polovině 19. století a vznikem variet v souvislosti se zakládáním dalších škol. Dále se zabývá utlačováním norského znakového jazyka oralistickými tendencemi ke konci 19. a většinu 20. století a snahami o vytvoření společného skandinávského znakového jazyka a standardizovaného norského znakového jazyka. V práci jsou dále popsány počátky výzkumu a lingvistiky norského znakového jazyka v 80. letech 20. století a s tím související změny v postoji ke komunitě neslyšících a jejich jazyku, které napomohly k legislativním změnám odrážejících se v postavení norského znakového jazyka, neslyšících a jejich práva na vzdělávání. V části o současnosti je načrtnuto geografické rozložení komunity neslyšících, vliv mluvených jazyků na norský znakový jazyk, včetně původu a užívání jednoruční a dvouruční prstové abecedy v Norsku a znakovaných systémů. The bachelor's thesis focuses on history and current status of Norwegian Sign Language, one of the oldest and largest minority languages in Norway. The aim of the thesis is to give a chronological overview of the main historical events associated with the Norwegian Deaf Community and their language. The thesis deals with the first mentions of Norwegian deaf people and their communication in written sources, the formation of Norwegian Sign Language in the first school for the deaf in the eighteen fifties and the development of dialects in the context of establishment of new schools. The thesis deals also with the repression of Norwegian Sing Language by oralistic tendencies by the end of 19th and most of the 20th century and attempts to create a common Scandinavian Sign Language and a standardized Norwegian Sign Language. Another topic described in this thesis is ta start of research and linguistics of Norwegian Sign Language in eighteen eighties and related changes in attitude towards the Deaf Community and their language which contributed to legislative changes reflected in the status of Norwegian Sign Language, deaf people and their right to education.
