Biopolitka a COVID-19

Abstract

Bakalářská práce pojednává o tématu biopolitiky v kontextu epidemie nemoci COVID- 19 v České republice. Práce má stanovené dva hlavní cíle: prvním cílem je identifikace a vymezení expertních diskursů v kontextu epidemie COVID-19; druhým cílem je popis funkcí a vazby expertních diskursů na biopolitiku. Teoretická východiska práce jsou čerpána z teorie Michela Foucaulta a jeho analýz biopolitiky, bio-moci a epidemie. V práci je aplikována metoda kritické diskursivní analýzy Normana Fairclougha, pomocí které se analyzují expertní texty. Prvním výsledkem analýzy je identifikace a vymezení tří expertních diskursů: diskursu expertů z pole přírodních věd, lékařského a ekonomického diskursu. Druhým výsledkem analýzy je zjištění, že expertní diskursy zastávají doporučující a analyzující funkci ve vazbě na biopolitiku během epidemie. Bakalářská práce zasazuje výsledky kritické diskursivní analýzy do kontextu epidemie nemoci COVID-19 a teoretického rámce Foucaultova myšlení. V závěru práce formuluji polemiku s teoretickými východisky Michela Foucaulta. Klíčová slova Sociologie, moc, biopolitika, covid-19, analýza diskursu

Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of biopolitics in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic in the Czech Republic. The work has two main goals: the first goal is to identify and define expert discourses in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic; the second goal is to describe the functions and links of expert discourses to biopolitics. The theoretical basis of the work is drawn from the theory of Michel Foucault and his analyzes of biopolitics, bio-power and epidemics. The method of critical discursive analysis by Norman Fairclough is applied in this work, which is used to analyze expert texts. The first result of the analysis is the identification and definition of three expert discourses: the discourse of experts in the field of natural sciences, medical and economic discourse. The second result of the analysis is the finding that in relation to biopolitics, expert discourses have a recommendatory and analyzing functions. The bachelor thesis places the results of critical discursive analysis in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic and the theoretical framework of Foucault's thinking. At the end of the work I formulate a polemic with Michel Foucault's theoretical background. Key words Sociology, power, biopolitics, covid-19, discourse analysis
