Zahrada jako estetický objekt

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se bude zabývat problematikou zahrady jako specifického estetického objektu. Práce nejprve definuje, co je považováno za estetický objekt, a pokouší se definovat a stanovit hranice pojmu zahrada. Zahrady jsou ve své podstatě velmi ambivalentní, neboť jsou spojením přírody a lidské činnosti. Práce proto shrne argumenty pro a proti zařazování zahrady do stejné kategorie jako přírodu či jako umění (lidský výtvor, který vzniká vědomě a záměrně). Položí si otázku, zda lze zahrady považovat za jeden z druhů umění, či nikoliv, a jakým způsobem zahradu vhodně esteticky vnímat. V závěru si práce položí otázku, zda lze zahradníka považovat za umělce a jakým způsobem bychom museli přemýšlet o tvorbě umění (nebo o zahradách), aby to bylo možné. Cílem práce je co nejlépe popsat specifičnost zahrady jako estetického objektu a představit její jedinečné vlastnosti. This bachelor thesis is centred around the problematics of a garden as a unique aesthetic object. First, it will define what is considered an aesthetic object, and try to define and set boundaries for the term garden. Gardens are in their essence very ambivalent, because they are a fusion of nature and human activity. This thesis will therefore introduce arguments for placing gardens in the same category as nature or art (a human product that is created intentionally and consciously). It will then pose the question if gardens can be considered art, as well as how to aesthetically appreciate a garden. Finally, the thesis will try to answer the question "can gardeners be considered artists?" and how we should be reflecting the process of art - or garden - creation, so that we could consider gardeners artists. The objective of this thesis is to describe the uniqueness of a garden as an aesthetic object, and introduce its unique qualities.
