Adaptace seniorů na přechod z domácího prostředí do domova pro seniory

Abstract

(česky) Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl představit téma adaptace, a to v souvislosti přechodu seniorů z domácího prostředí do institucionalizované péče. Záměrem teoretické části je obecně charakterizovat problematiku stáří a stárnutí, především s důrazem na významné životní změny, kvalitu života a specifické potřeby seniorů, a popsat a vymezit pojem adaptace v co nejužší souvislosti s předkládaným tématem. Cílem praktické (výzkumné) části je uvést formou vybraných kazuistik příklady "zvládnuté" a "nezvládnuté" adaptace, a na jejich základě poukázat na klíčové faktory související s úspěšným završením adaptačního procesu.

(in English): This bachelor thesis aims to introduce the topic of adaptation, in connection with the move of seniors from the home environment to institutionalized care. The intention of the theoretical part is to generally characterize the issue of old age and aging, especially with the emphasis on significant life changes, quality of life, and specific needs of seniors and to describe and define the concept of adaptation in the closest possible context to the submitted topic. The aim of the practical (research) part is to present in the form of selected case studies examples of the "mastered" and the "failed" adaptation and based on them to point out the key factors related to the successful completion of the adaptation process.
