K danému tématu přitom přistupuje v rovině obecné s cílem vymezit pojem protiprávního obsahu na internetu z pohledu trestního práva v celé jeho šíři, analyzovat mechanismus vzniku trestněprávní odpovědnosti ve vztahu k šíření protiprávního obsahu a zmapovat oblast trestněprávní odpovědnosti za protiprávní obsah na internetu v rovině jejích možných subjektů. Práce se skládá ze tří částí, které jsou tvořeny jednotlivými kapitolami. První část práce se zabývá problémem působnosti práva na internetu a jeho možným řešením, a to jak v obecné rovině, tak s důrazem na právo trestní a potírání internetové kriminality.
