Mediální obraz teroristických útoků v Londýně v roce 2017: Komparace zpravodajských portálů Aktuálně.cz a The Guardian

Abstract

Zde předložená bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na mediální pokrytí čtyř teroristických útoků, které se v roce 2017 odehrály v Londýně. Předmětem analýzy jsou fotografie, které ve spojitosti se zmíněnými útoky publikoval český server Aktuálně.cz a britský server The Guardian. Sledované období u každého útoku je vždy týden od události. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké fotografie obě média z daných útoků publikovala, zaměřením se na technické i obsahové proměnné snímků. Cílem je také komparace vizuální reprezentace jednotlivých útoků v českém a britském online médiu.

This thesis is focused on the media coverage of four terrorist attacks that happened in London in 2017. The subject of the research are photographs which were published after the attacks on Czech online news media Aktuálně.cz and British online news portal The Guardian. The coverage on both media is in the case of each attack followed for one week. The aim of this thesis is to describe which photographs both media published, with the main emphasis on certain technical and content variables. Furthermore, the difference between visual representation in Czech and British media is also a subject of this work.
