De kleurensymboliek in Turks fruit van Jan Wolkers

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the color symbolism in the book Turks fruit which was written by Jan Wolkers. Jan Wolkers was an artist and in this thesis is a possible connection between his two careers being explored in direction of the use of colors in association with the two main characters of the novel. De love relationship is written from the perspective of Erik who is also an artist like Wolkers was. In the thesis is mainly the use of color in connection with his second wife Olga being explored. The answers are through assessment determined. The thesis offers interesting conclusions which are based on some color theories and they answer the question whether there is a pattern to follow in the relation between the two main characters. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na barevnou symboliku v knize Turks fruit, kterou napsal Jan Wolkers. Jan Wolkers byl umělec a tato práce se zaměřuje na možné spojení mezi jeho dvěma kariérami. Upíná se hlavně na užití barev ve spojení s dvěma hlavními postavami románu. Milostný vztah je psán z pohledu Erika, který je umělec stejně jako byl Wolkers. V této práci se zkoumá hlavně užití barev v souvislosti s jeho druhou ženou Olgou. Na otázky odpovídá výsledek inventarizace užitých barev v knize. Práce nabízí zajímavé závěry, které jsou založeny na základě některých barevných teoriích, a odpovídají na otázku, zda je možno sledovat určitý systém užitých barev ve vztahu dvou hlavních postav.
