Ruina jako estetický objekt

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis is focused on ruins as specific aesthetic objects. The thesis will first remind us about the beginning and rise of aesthetic interest in ruins in the eighteenth and nineteenth century, which mainly stems from the category of picturesque, which was prominent in this period of time. The first part of the thesis mainly focuses on the theory of Sir Uvedale Price, who discussed ruins in terms of picturesque. This part also looks at historical changeability of ruins and the approach to them. Next the thesis discusses ruin as an object. This entails analysis of the defining trend of the term ruin in dictionaries as well as in texts written by authors interested in the aesthetics of ruins. The aim of this part is to create a unique definition of the term ruin. After creating this definition, the text continues by discussing ruin as an aesthetic object. A ruin is in terms of its value a complexly structured object and outlining this value structure is the aim of this thesis. This part therefore focused on discussing elements, which the ruins consist of and which together play a major role in constituting an aesthetic object. Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na ruiny jako specifické estetické objekty. Jako první práce připomíná vznik a vzestup estetického zájmu o ruiny v osmnáctém a devatenáctém století, které pramenilo zejména z kategorie malebna, v tom období prominentním. Primárně se soustředí na teorii Sira Uvedala Price, který o ruinách ve vztahu k malebnu pojednává. Součástí je ale i nahlédnutí na historickou proměnlivost ruiny a přístupu k ní. Následně práce pojednává o ruině jako objektu. To obnáší analýzu definičního trendu pojmu ruina a to jak ve slovnících tak v textech autorů zajímajících se o estetiku ruin. Cílem této části je přijít s vlastní definicí ruiny. Po vytvoření definice text pokračuje pojednáním o ruině jako estetickém objektu. Ruina je hodnotově složitě strukturovaným objektem a nastínění této hodnotové struktury je právě cílem této práce. Půjde tedy o pojednání o složkách, které ruiny tvoří a společně se podílejí na tvorbě estetického objektu. Naprosto zásadní je pro ruinu jednota. Součástí je i pojednání o smyslech, vztahu ruiny a přírody a zvážení jejího temporálního rozměru. Poslední část se věnuje novému typu ruiny neboli ruině industriální. Cílem této části je určité porovnání ruiny klasické a moderní na základě toho, co bylo stanoveno jako složky ruiny jako estetického objektu. Mnoho autorů...
