Abstract

The objectof the researchin this thesis is a book compilation"Stories from the Murals of the Haeinsa Monastery"from which I had translated selectedBuddhist narrativeswithadded commentary.Through theanalysis oftheselected narratives Itried to determinewhat kind ofposition the narratives have in the context of the Korean Buddhism.The followingpart of the thesis is aiming to analysecorrespondingmurals as welland the focusis on the iconography and theposition of the murals in the Korean Buddhist art. Abstrakt(česky): Předmětem zkoumání této práce je knižní sbírka "Příběhy nástěnných maleb zkláštera Häinsa,"kde jádro práce tvoří komentovaný překlad vybraných buddhistických narativů, jejich následný rozbor a zasazení do kontextu korejského buddhismua historie. Dalším předmětem zkoumání jsou nástěnné malby korespondující svybranými narativy, jejich rozbor, ikonografie a postavení vrámci korejskéhobuddhistickéhoumění.
