Gewalt und Gesellschaft. Ein Vergleich von Walter Benjamins und Ernst Jüngers Positionen

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá analyzou textů Waltera Benjamina a Ernsta Jüngera, jejichž tématem je místo moci a násilí ve společnosti. Základními texty jsou Zur Kritik der Gewalt a Theorien des deutschen Faschismus od Waltera Benjamina a Über die Gefahr, Die totale Mobilmachung a Der Pazifismus od Ernsta Jüngera. Pozornost je v první řádě zaměřena na samotné texty. Ideový kontext období, ve kterém vybrané texty vznikly, hraje značnou, však ne vedoucí roli. Cílem práce je analýza a interpretace obsahu zvolených děl. Práce má také za cíl ukázat hlavní rozdíly, ale i podobnosti v ideologiích obou autorů tak, aby se stalo možným zřetelně popsat jejich postoje vůči násilí ve společnosti. This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of texts by Walter Benjamin and Ernst Jünger, the topic of which is the place of power and violence in society. The basic texts are Zur Kritik der Gewalt and Theorien des deutschen Faschismus by Walter Benjamin and Über die Gefahr, Die totale Mobilmachung and Der Pazifismus by Ernst Jünger. Attention is primarily focused on the texts as they are. The ideological context of the period in which the selected texts were created plays a significant, though not the leading role. The goal of the thesis is to analyse and to interpret the content of the selected works. The thesis also aims to show the main differences and similarities in the ideologies of both authors, so that it becomes possible to clearly describe their attitudes towards violence in society.
