Budovy železničních stanic v Pardubicích, Klatovech a Chebu

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with three railway station buildings - in Pardubice (1948- 1958), Klatovy (1959-1960) and Cheb (1958-1962), all of which were constructed within the post-war restoration of destroyed stations. The circumstances of their origin, their architecture and works of art are presented here, as well as the typological development of the station hall and the work of their architect Josef Danda. This thesis intends to trace whether there are any similarities between them dispite of their belonging to different architectural styles, and present them in the context of the author's work as well as the architecture of railway station buildings in general. Bakalářská práce se zabývá třemi nádražními budovami, které vznikly v Československu v rámci poválečné obnovy železničních stanic - v Pardubicích (1948-1958), Klatovech (1959-1960) a Chebu (1958-1962). Jsou představeny jejich okolnosti vzniku, architektura a umělecká výzdoba, stejně tak typologický vývoj nádražní haly a tvorba jejich architekta, Josefa Dandy. Záměrem je vysledovat, zda mezi těmito stavbami existují styčné body navzdory jejich různému stylovému zařazení a vsadit je do kontextu jak autorovy tvorby, tak architektury nádražních budov.
