Reprezentace České republiky při OSN

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the media image of the United Nations in the most widely read Czech dailies. The first part of the thesis generally presents the organization, its history, structure and relationship with the Czech Republic. The practical part is devoted to quantitative and qualitative research of articles in selected periodicals from 2017, 2018 and 2019. Using these analyses, the author was able to find out what and how frequently the media most often write about in connection with the UN. The goal of the thesis is to determine how the Czech press informs about the UN and whether the representation of the highest Czech diplomat at the UN influence that.

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje mediálnímu obrazu Organizace spojených národů v nejčtenějších českých denících. První část práce obecně představuje organizaci, její historii, strukturu i vztah s Českou republikou. Praktická část se věnuje kvantitativnímu a kvalitativnímu výzkumu článků vybraných periodik z let 2017, 2018 a 2019. Pomocí těchto analýz dokázala autorka zjistit, o čem a jak frekventovaně média v souvislosti s OSN nejčastěji píší. Cílem práce je určit, jak o OSN informuje český tisk a zda má na jeho mediální obraz vliv reprezentace nejvyššího českého diplomata při OSN.
