Obezita a diabetes mellitus 1. typu

Abstract

Even though patients with the diabetes mellitus type 1 disease were considered slim individuals, the occurrence of overweight and obesity is a more common issue which is not given enough attention. Thus, the topic of obesity, diabetes mellitus, the unheatlhy obese individuals with the diabetes mellitus dissease is becoming more current. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to collect basic data, evaulate compensation of diabetes mellites and to compare BMI of tracked patients with the mellitus type 1 diagnosis, who visited the diabetic department in the span of one month: 1. - 30. November 2019 versus general population. The data were collected from doctors' documents of the patients. One of the monitored parameters was the presence of overweight and obesity with the patients. The theoretical part of the thesis provides basic information about the diabetes mellitus following information about obesity. The final chapter connects these two diseases. Ačkoliv pacienti s onemocněním diabetes mellitus 1. typu byli donedávna braní jako štíhlí jedinci, výskyt nadváhy a obezity u nich je stále častějším problémem, kterému není věnována dostatečná pozornost, a tak se s rostoucí prevalencí obezity a diabetu mellitu stává téma obezity u nemocných s diabetem mellitem stále více aktuálním. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo přinést základní data, zhodnotit kompenzaci diabetu mellitu a porovnat BMI mezi sledovanými pacienty s diagnózou diabetes mellitus 1. typu, kteří navštívili diabetologickou ambulanci v časovém rozmezí od 1. - 30. listopadu 2019, a běžnou populací. Data byla sbírána z lékařské dokumentace pacientů. Jedním ze sledovaných parametrů byl právě výskyt nadváhy a obezity u pacientů. Teoretická část práce popisuje základní informace o diabetu mellitu obecně a následně o obezitě. Poslední kapitola tyto dvě onemocnění propojuje. V praktické části je základní popis sledovaného souboru pacientů, porovnání BMI mezi sledovaným vzorkem pacientů a běžnou populací, porovnání hodnot HbA1c (glykovaný hemoglobin) mezi pacienty s CGM/FGM (senzor pro kontinuální monitoraci glykemie) a bez něj, srovnání průměrného BMI (body mass index) mezi pacienty s CGM/FGM a bez něj, vyhodnocení rozdílu v hodnotách HbA1c u pacientů s BMI v mezích normálu a na úrovni...
