The theoretical part has 7 chapters where we describe the development and history of patients' rights, informed consent, negative reversal and previously expressed wishes. The empirical part is focused on the questionnaire survey, which concerns the rights of patients in a hospital, to the extent that patients in the hospitalized department are informed of their rights. The research section is supplemented by an interview with the Ombudsman from the Náchod Regional Hospital. V Oblastní nemocnici Náchod a ve Fakultní nemocnici v Hradci Králové. Teoretická část má 7 kapitol, kde popisujeme vývoj a historii Práv pacientů, informovaný souhlas, negativní reverz a dříve vyslovené přání. Empirická část je zaměřena na dotazníkové šetření, které se týká Práv pacientů v nemocničním zařízení, do jaké míry jsou pacienti na hospitalizovaném oddělení informování o svých právech. Výzkumná část je doplněna o rozhovor s paní ombudsmankou z Oblastní nemocnice Náchod. V závěru části, která se zabývá výzkumem, je uvedena diskuse, která porovnává výsledky výzkumu. Součástí bakalářské práce jsou přílohy obsahující dokumenty, které se vážou k danému tématu.
