Integrace žen s mezinárodní ochranou v kontextu Státního integračního programu a utváření domova

Abstract

The aim of my thesis is to analyze an integration process of women with international protection. The emphasis is placed on women and their migratory experiences. I believe that the role of gender in migration and integration studies is still neglected even though women often experience very specific situations as a result of the gender roles assigned to them by patriarchal societies. I monitor the integration of women with international protection within the context of services provided by the State Integration Program. I am interested in how specific services impact research participants and their daily lives in a new environment. The trajectory of the integration process is examined from the decision to migrate, through leaving the home country, acculturative stress, first contact with Czech society, to present and future visions. One of the tools of the State Integration Program is the assistance provided in the area of housing. I pay particular attention to housing, as I consider the loss of home, the search and reformation of a new one to be key aspects affecting the integration process. Cílem mé diplomové práce je analýza procesu integrace žen s mezinárodní ochranou. Má práce se zaměřuje pouze na ženy a jejich migrační zkušenost. Domnívám, že role genderu bývá ve studiích migrace a integrace opomíjena, a to i přesto, že ženy během těchto procesů procházejí velmi specifickými situacemi plynoucími z jejich genderové příslušnosti, jež jim patriarchální společnosti přisuzují. Integraci držitelek mezinárodní ochrany sleduji v kontextu využívání služeb Státního integračního programu. Zajímá mě, jakým způsobem konkrétní služby dopadají na participantky výzkumu a jejich každodenní život v novém prostředí. Trajektorie procesu integrace je zkoumána od samotného rozhodnutí migrovat, přes odchod z mateřské země, akulturační stres, první kontakt s českou společností až po současnost i budoucí vize. Jedním z nástrojů Státního integračního programu je poskytovaná asistence v oblasti bydlení. Bydlení ve své práci věnuji zvláštní pozornost, neboť ztrátu domova, jeho hledání a znovu-utváření považuji za jeden z klíčových aspektů úspěšné integrace. Výsledkem realizovaných rozhovorů kvalitativního výzkumu je zjištění, že Státní integrační program nezohledňuje individuální potřeby migrantek s traumatickými zkušenostmi, matek, žen v domácnosti pečující o ostatní blízké.
