Tělesnost, liminalita a communitas v prožívání svatojakubské cesty

Abstract

Bakalářská práce pojednává o fenoménu svatojakubské pouti. Jejím cílem je představit teatrální a performativní prvky této poutní cesty a její vztah k rituálu. V práci je využito terénního výzkumu a zúčastněného pozorování autorky, přičemž jsou zohledněny také konkrétní zkušenosti dalších poutníků, kteří tuto pouť absolvovali. Autorka se snaží tyto prožitky interpretovat a přiblížit tak způsob, kterým může poutník během svatojakubské pouti vnímat své tělo a jaké významy může vlastním pohybem a tělesností při této poutní cestě konstruovat.

The Bachelor's thesis deals with The Way of Saint James phenomenon. Its aim is to introduce performative elements of the pilgrimage and its relation to ritual. In the thesis, both field research and participative observation of the author are used, also taking into consideration experience of other pilgrims, who have completed the pilgrimage. The author tries to interpret the experience so as to specify ways of the pilgrim's body perception as well as messages a pilgrim can, through his movement and corporeality, portray during The Way of Saint James.
