Předpoklady a souvislosti pálení knih v současném Rusku a ruskojazyčných komunitách na východě Ukrajiny

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce je popsat a interpretovat fenomén pálení knih v současném Rusku, případně na území anektovaného Krymu a východě Ukrajiny. Práce se zabývá událostmi v posledních přibližně patnácti letech, během nichž bylo zaznamenáno několik případů pálení knih. Zásadním postupem práce je důkladná verifikace těchto události a dále jejich uvedení do společensko-politického kontextu současného Ruska. Cílem bude postihnout aspekty společenských a politických poměrů, které tyto trendy mohou podněcovat či podporovat.

The subject of this thesis is to describe and explain the phenomenon of burning books in contemporary Russia, possibly in the territory annexed by Crimea and East Ukraine. The thesis deals with events in the last 15 years, during which several cases of book burning were identified. The fundamental procedure of the thesis is a thorough verification of these events and their introduction into the socio-political context of contemporary Russia. The aim will be to address aspects of social and political circumstances that can encourage or support these trends.
