Alkohol v Bibli

Abstract

Backgrounds - The bible is one of the most important books of history. Its content extends inter alia to the field of addictology. There are many references to alcohol use in the bible, and the effects of alcohol on man are also described. Objectives - The aim of this work is to map and describe alcohol in the bible. His forms in which he appears in the bible and on what occasions he is used. Furthermore, I map the effects of its use and the related attitude of the bible and God to the use of alcohol. Methods - I used a method of analyzing written documents. Using the Quota Selection Method, I searched for terms related to alcohol drinking (Drunkenness, Wine,…) using the online Bible 21. I analyzed these excerpts and included them in the tufts created, the categories according to the way alcohol was used in the bible. Next, I compared these excerpts with the same excerpts in the Bible: Český studijní překlad (Bible: Czech Study Translation) and looked for possible translation and meaning mismatches. The selected excerpts I mention in this work I chose purely subjectively. To calculate the amount of search terms, I used search tools in the online Bible 21. Východiska - Bible je jednou z nejdůležitějších knih historie. Její obsah zasahuje mimo jiné, i do oboru adiktologie. V bibli se nachází mnoho zmínek o užívání alkoholu, a jsou v ní popsány i účinky alkoholu na člověka. Cíle práce - Cílem této práce je zmapovat a popsat alkohol v bibli. Jeho formy, ve kterých se v bibli vyskytuje a při jakých příležitostech se užívá. Dále mapuji dopady jeho užívání, a s tím spojený postoj bible a Boha k užívání alkoholu. Metody - Použila jsem metodu analýzy písemných dokumentů. Pomocí metody kvótového záměrného výběru jsem pomocí online verze Bible 21 vyhledala termíny, související s pitím alkoholu (Opilost, víno,…). Tyto úryvky jsem analyzovala a zařadila je do vytvořených trsů, kategorií podle toho, v jakém smyslu se alkohol v bibli užíval. Dále jsem tyto úryvky porovnala se stejnými úryvky v Bible: Český studijní překlad, a hledala jsem případné překladové a významové neshody. Vybrané úryvky, které v této práci zmiňuji, jsem vybírala čistě subjektivně. Pro výpočet množství vyhledaných slov, jsem využila vyhledávající nástroje v online verzi Bible 21. Výsledky - Zmínek alkoholu v bibli je značné množství. Nejvíce he zastoupeno slovo víno, to se zde vyskytuje 140x a výraz opilství 40x.
