Abstract

Master thesis reflects Polish and German stereotypes, eventually their de-construction in both, Polish and German (eventually Polish-German) cinematography The thesis connects elements of film analysis, culturology and sociology when dealing with intercultural relations. It discusses also the question of historical memory. The aim od the thesis is to discuss the term "stereotype" on example of presentation of intercultural relations in chosen Polish and Polish-German films. The thesis analyzes the genesis of stereotypical reflection of another nation, espacially as a result of German-Polish conflictual past

Práce se věnuje reflexi polských a německých stereotypů, příp. jejich dekonstrukci v polské, resp. Polsko-německé kinematografii. Práce se tak pohybuje na pomezí teorie a analýzy filmu, kulturologie i sociologie ve smyslu interkulturních vztahů a částečně i analýzy historické paměti. Cílem práce je diskutovat o termínu stereotypu při vnímání interkulturních vztahů ve vybraných polských a polsko-německých filmech. Autorka analyzuje vznik stereotypních vnímání druhého národa, zvláště v důsledku konfliktní polsko-německé historie.
