Pojem romándská literatura a podíl nakladatelů na formování literárního života ve frankofonním Švýcarsku ve 20. století

Abstract

Tato disertační práce je příspěvkem ke studiu frankofonních literatur v českém univerzitním prostředí. Zabývá se švýcarskou francouzsky psanou literaturou, která je ve Švýcarsku označována jako romándská, a především podílem nakladatelů na formování této literatury ve druhé polovině 20. století, tedy od druhé světové války do počátku 80. let. V úvodu je vysvětlen pojem romándská literatura v souvislosti se vznikem a vývojem dalších frankofonních literatur a jejich určitých emancipačních snah ve 20. století. Odpověd na otázku, v čem spočívá identita romándské literatury, a jak tuto literaturu definovat, nachází disertační práce v procesu istitucionalizace romándské literatury, ve které je ústřední institucí nakladatel. Ostatní literární instituce, které jsou chápány ve smyslu sociologickém, tedy jako společenské struktury a vazby disponující relativní autoritou v daném prostoru a čase: romándské literární revue, literární kritika a historie, univerzity, literární ceny a další, jsou tu kladeny do vztahu s koncepcí romándské literatury a do vztahu s institucí nakladatele. Jsou zde zohledněny i podstatné okamžiky ve vývoji literárních institucí v první polovině 20. století. This dissertation contributes to the studies of Francophone literatures in Czech universities by presenting Swiss French written literature, called "Romand literature" in Switzerland, and explaining the role that Swiss publishers played in the formation of literary life in the second half of the 20th century, precisely from the end of the Second World War to the beginning of the 1980s. The term "Romand literature" is explained in connection with the conception and evolution of other Francophone literatures and their particular emancipation efforts in the 20th century. The answer to the question of what the identity of Romand literature is and how this literature might be defined is found in the process of institutionalization of Romand literature, and here the institution of the publisher is at the center of interest. Other literary institutions - in the sociologic notion of social structures and relations having a relative authority in the defined space and time - such as Romand literary reviews, literary critics and history, universities, and literary awards are presented in relation to the notion of Romand literature and to the institution of a publisher.
