Psychologické aspekty obezity

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na téma psychologických aspektů obesity s důrazem na roli depresivní symptomatiky. V prvním tématickém celku uvádí stručnou informaci o depresi a obezitě jako samostatných diagnózách. V druhém nejrozsáhlejším tématickém celku pojednává o komorbiditě těchto onemocnění. Jsou zařazeny kapitoly týkající se výskytu této komorbidity a mechanismů jejího vzniku. Dále obsahuje kapitolu o možnostech intervencí v rámci této komorbidity. Třetí tématický celek je shrnutím informací o roli oboru psychologie v rámci bariatrické chirurgie s důrazem na aspekty týkající se deprese. Výzkumná část práce se zabývá body image a jeho působení na vztah deprese a obezity. Klíčová slova obezita, nadváha, deprese, body image

This bachelor thesis aims to the psychological aspects of obesity with an emphasis to the role of depressive symptomatic. In the first chapter, there is brief information about depression and obesity as separate diagnoses. The second, the most comprehensive chapter, is concerned with a comorbidity of these diseases. It contains information about prevalence, development mechanisms and intervention options. The third chapter summarizes information about a role of psychology in bariatric surgery with an emphasis to depression.
