Dokumentární fotografie: Jeden rok v kapele Branko's Bridge

Abstract

Cílem této práce je představení života studentské kapely neotřelým pohledem. Kostru její praktické části tvoří fotografický dokument o 55 snímcích, který kapelu zabírá z perspektivy jejího člena - její pevné součásti, dává nahlédnout do zákulisí celého projektu a ukazuje klíčové okamžiky, nesnáze i radosti, se kterými se kapela setkává. Popisuje situace od každodenních úkonů po ty, které k roli amatérského hudebníka přidružila až současnost. Teoretická část práce nastiňuje dokumentární fotografii jako žánr a blíže přibližuje hudební fotografii. Součástí teoretické části práce je i rozhovor s Ondřejem Bezrem, autorem knihy Fotografie, které hrají.

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to present an original point of view on the life within a band, mainly through a photo documentary of 55 pictures. It shows the ordinary situations as well as key moments in the band's life from the perspective of its member. The thesis is connecting documentary photography and concert photography through an interview with music journalist Ondřej Bezr, author of the book ​Fotografie, které hrají​. Theoretical part of the thesis gives a bright insight on documentary photography as a genre and further focuses on music photography.
