Úřední změna pohlaví v České republice

Abstract

1 Anotace Tato bakalářská práce se soustředí na téma procesu úřední změny pohlaví v České republice. Úřední změna pohlaví se týká transgender komunity a pro mnoho lidí je její absolvování důležité. Cílem této práce je tento proces popsat a nalézt v něm bariéry, které ztěžují a oddalují jeho úspěšné absolvování. Práce je postavena na teorii liniových pracovníků od Lipskyho, jelikož tito pracovníci mají na proces velký vliv. Jde zejména o matrikářky a sexuology. Za účelem získání informací o procesu úřední změny pohlaví byly uskutečněny dva expertní rozhovory a rozhovory se šesti respondenty z transgender komunity. Rozhovory byly polostrukturované, podle toho, o čem jaký respondent mluvil, a trvaly od dvaceti minut do dvou hodin. Analyzovány byly za pomoci tematické analýzy. Mezi problémy, které byly v rozhovorech zmiňovány patří nejasně stanovené podmínky, jako nutnost změnit si jméno na neutrální jako součást real life testu. Dále zákonem stanovená nutnost podstoupit sterilizaci a rozvést se či rozvázat registrované partnerství, je-li daná osoba v nějakém z těchto dvou sňatků.

1 Annotation This bachelor's thesis deals with the process of legal gender change in the Czech Republic. Legal gender change is very important for many people inside the transgender community. The goal of this thesis is to describe this process and find problems and barriers that make completing it harder and longer. This thesis is supported by the street-level bureaucracy theory by Michael Lipsky because these workers are important part of the process and have big impact on it. These workers are mostly doctors and state officials that change names. For the purpose of this thesis two interviews with experts and six interviews with transgender people were made. The interviews were semi-structured depending on the story the respondent decided to tell. The shortest one lasted about 20 minutes and the longest one had 2 hours. They were analyzed by the thematic analysis. Problems mentioned in the interviews were unclear conditions like neutral name or being or not being necessary in the real life test. Also, sterilization and divorce being the law stated conditions were found a problem.
