Stigmatizace matek dětí s Aspergerovým syndromem

Abstract

Bakalářská práce "Stigmatizace matek dětí s Aspergerovým syndromem" se věnuje problematice přeneseného stigmatu, pojednává o jeho projevech, důsledcích a mapuje, kde k stigmatizaci dochází. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit zda se matky dětí s Aspergerovým syndromem cítí být stigmatizovány a pokud ano kde k tomuto fenoménu dochází. Teoretická část práce se soustředí na popsání hlavních pojmů stigmatizace, rodičovství a mateřství a Aspergerova syndromu. Práce je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu, který je založen na deseti hloubkových polostrukturovaných rozhovorech, jeho specifika jsou dále popsána v metodologické části práce. Výsledky výzkumu jsou analyzovány a interpretovány v poslední kapitole. Stigmatizace se objevila do určité míry u všech respondentek, její projevy a důsledky se však lišily na základě jiných životních zkušeností, rodinného stavu ale hlavně závažnosti diagnózy dítěte. V práci byly identifikovány tři hlavní sféry, ve kterých ke stigmatizaci dochází, u osob blízkých, na veřejnosti a při kontaktu s institucemi a profesionály.

The bachelor thesis "The stigmatization of mothers of children with Asperger syndrome" deals with the issue of courtesy stigma, it focuses on its manifestations, consequences and it maps where stigmatization usually occurs. The main goal of this thesis is to find out whether mothers of children with Asperger syndrome feel stigmatized and if so where does this phenomenon occur. The theoretical part of this treatise aims to describe the main concepts of stigmatization, parenthood and motherhood and Asperger's syndrome. The thesis is built on qualitative research which is based on ten in-depth semi-structured interviews, it's specifics are further described in its methodological part. The research results are analyzed and interpreted in the last chapter. Stigmatization appeared to some extent among all respondents, but its manifestations and consequences differed depending on other life experiences, marital status but mainly the severity of the child's diagnosis. Three main areas in which stigmatization occurs were identified, around close friends and family, in public and during contact with institutions and professionals.
