Tvorba historického atlasu bitvy u Hradce Králové

Abstract

Cílem bakalářské práce je vytvořit historický atlas bitvy u Hradce Králové. V úvodu teoretické části jsou popsána pravidla, pojmy a metody tematické kartografie. Následuje rešerše tištěných historických atlasů, která slouží jako inspirace pro autora. Dále je představena bitva u Hradce Králové. V praktické části je na základě získaných poznatků stanoven a rozpracován odpovídající metodický postup tvorby. Klíčovou částí tvorby je práce s dobovými mapami z Mapové sbírky Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Karlovy a také s odbornou historickou literaturou. Výstupem práce je pak samotný historický atlas bitvy u Hradce Králové, který by měl čtenáři prostřednictvím chronologicky uspořádaných map ukázat prostorové rozmístění armád v bitvě a také podat základní informace o příčinách, průběhu, důsledcích a klíčových momentech střetnutí. The goal of this thesis is to create a historical atlas of the Battle of Königgrätz. The theoretical part describes rules, concepts and methods of the thematic cartography, followed by a research of printed historical atlases, which served as an inspiration for the author. The last section of the theoretical part deals with the introduction to the Battle of Königgrätz itself. In the practical part, an appropriate methodological creation process is proposed based on the acquired knowledge. The key part of the process is working with historical maps from the Map Collection of the Faculty of Science of Charles University as well as with historical literature. The outcome of the thesis is the aforementioned historical atlas of the Battle of Königgrätz, which shows the spatial distribution of armies during the battle using chronologically ordered maps and provides basic information regarding the causes, course, consequences and key moments of the conflict.
