Abstract

Following old master drawings within the collections of selected Czech collectors Abstract This thesis is a contribution to the history of collecting in Bohemia. It deals with the collecting of drawings and tracks them within the selected collections and collectors. It focuses primarily on the old master drawings, defined as works from the 16th to the 18th century. Within the issue of collecting the attention is, even when studying specific personalities, often paid to the picture galleries rather than the print collections. Due to its fragile nature, drawing tends to fit into the background and, if it does not form the main part of the collection, is not reflected. Many of the collections and collectors have come to attention lately, but many still await their appreciation and introduction into new contexts. Po stopách staré kresby ve sbírkách vybraných českých sběratelů Anotace Tato práce je příspěvkem k dějinám sběratelství v Čechách. Zabývá se sběratelstvím kresby, již sleduje v rámci vybraných sbírek a sběratelů. Soustředí se především na starou kresbu, kterou vymezuje jako práce z 16. - 18. století. Pozornost v rámci tématu sběratelství, i při studiu konkrétních osobností, bývá věnována spíše obrazovým kolekcím, méně pak těm grafickým. Kresba mívá, i vzhledem ke své křehké podstatě, tendenci zapadnout do pozadí, a pokud netvoří stěžejní část sbírky, nebývá reflektována. Řada ze sbírek a jejích sběratelů se již dočkala pozornosti, mnohé však stále čeká na své zhodnocení a uvedení do nových souvislostí.
