Význam zvířecích výjevů v Zaječím pokoji na zámku v Bučovicích

Abstract

In the Bachelor's thesis, I deal with the significance of the hare's theme in the compositions of the so-called reversed world. The focal point of this thesis is the decoration of Hare chamber at Bučovice Castle, which will be set in a wider cultural context. The thesis focuses on the iconography of the hare theme in general, as well as on the occurrence and significance of the hare's depiction in the European environment. General parts of the thesis lay the basis for a deeper interpretation of the theme of the reversed world in Hare chamber in Bučovice. The themes of the reversed world, of various animal species in human roles, have a rich tradition, they appear in the edges of medieval illuminated manuscripts, in the late Renaissance graphic arts, and this tradition continues without interruption to the present day. This type of depiction could have satirical or moral significance, but its function could be just to entertain spectators. The Hare chamber is one of the five representative rooms of Bučovice Castle with a rich plastic decoration in good condition and paintings from the third quarter of the 16th century, showing the hare in human roles. V bakalářské práci sleduji význam námětu zajíce v kompozicích tzv. obráceného světa. Těžištěm práce je výzdoba Zaječího pokoje na zámku v Bučovicích, která bude zasazena do širšího kulturního kontextu. Práce se zaměří nejprve na sledování ikonografie námětu zajíce obecně, dále na výskyt a význam zobrazení zajíce v evropském prostředí. Obecné části práce položí bázi pro hlubší výklad námětů obráceného světa v Zaječím sále v Bučovicích. Náměty převráceného světa, různých druhů zvířat v lidských rolích, mají bohatou tradici, objevují se již v bordurách středověkých iluminovaných rukopisů, v grafikách pozdní renesance a tato tradice běží kontinuálně až do současnosti. Tento typ zobrazování mohl mít satirický nebo mravoličný význam, ale mohl sloužit i k prostému pobavení diváka. Zaječí sál je jedna z pěti reprezentativních místností zámku Bučovice se zachovalou bohatou plastickou výzdobou a výmalbou z třetí čtvrtiny 16. století, které zobrazují zajíce v lidských rolích. Jedná se o náměty vytvářející uzavřený cyklus výjevů "lovený loví lovce". Proč byla právě tato tematika námětem Zaječího pokoje, se pokusím zodpovědět také bližším pohledem na život vlastníka zámku Jana Černohorského z Boskovic.
