Smluvní výzkum na strojních fakultách v Česku: role geografické, kognitivní a institucionální blízkosti

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the cooperation of universities and companies. The main aim was to analyze the spatial distribution of companies cooperating with research teams at the engineering faculties of universities in Ostrava, Liberec, Plzeň and Prague and to find out the spatial formula of the partners working with these faculties. The partial aim of the work was to identify the mechanisms behind cooperation and to analyze initiatives and activities supporting this cooperation. Last but not least, the work tried to find out which types of proximity play a role in establishing cooperation among academic staff and private enterprises. The theoretical framing of the thesis was based on the theory of regional innovation systems and the concepts of triple helix and knowledge bases. In order to obtain the necessary information, a number of interviews with academic staff were carried out. The results show the importance of geographical, institutional and cognitive and social proximity, which have an impact on the character of cooperation. The main finding is that a geographic distance has a major influence on the realization of contract research with engineering faculties. Diplomová práce se věnuje spolupráci univerzit a firem. Jejím cílem bylo analyzovat prostorové rozmístění firem spolupracujících s výzkumnými týmy na strojních fakultách vysokých škol v Ostravě, Liberci, Plzni a v Praze, a zjistit prostorový vzorec partnerů, kteří s těmito fakultami spolupracují. Dílčím cílem práce bylo zjistit mechanismy stojící za vznikem spolupráce a analyzovat iniciativy a aktivity podporující spolupráci. V neposlední řadě se práce snažila zjistit, jaké typy blízkostí hrají roli při navázání spolupráce mezi akademickými pracovníky a soukromými podniky. Teoretické zarámování práce bylo založeno na teorii regionálních inovačních systémů a konceptech triple helix a znalostních základen. Za účelem získání potřebných informací byla zrealizována řada rozhovorů s akademickými pracovníky. Výsledky ukazují na důležitost prostorové, institucionální a kognitivní a sociální blízkosti, jež mají vliv na charakter spolupráce. Hlavním zjištěním je, že při realizaci smluvních výzkumů se strojními fakultami má zásadní vliv geografická vzdálenost. Klíčová slova: transfer technologií, smluvní výzkum, spolupráce, blízkost
