Role integračních center v rámci integrační politiky České republiky

Abstract

The main aim of this bachelor thesis The Role of Integration Centers in the frame of integration policy of the Czech Republic is to describe and compare the position of integration centers operating in the Czech Republic. The thesis examines and compares the activities of integration centers working as non-profit organizations with the Centers for Support of Integration of Foreigners which are established by the state. It describes an integration policy in the Czech Republic, which aims to prevent the creation of closed communities of immigrants, a social isolation and a social exclusion of foreigners. The research was made as a multiple case study. The main target of this research was to find out how the integration centers contribute from the perspective of their employees to the process of integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic, mainly through the services provided and their promotion. The research found out essential problems of the Czech Republic's integration policy for foreigners from third countries. Cílem bakalářské práce Role integračních center v rámci integrační politiky ČR je popsat a porovnat postavení integračních center působících v České republice. Práce zkoumá a porovnává činnost integračních center působících jako neziskové organizace s Centry na podporu integrace cizinců zřizované státem. Popisuje integrační politiku v České republice, jejímž cílem je předcházet vytváření uzavřených komunit imigrantů, společenské izolaci a sociálnímu vyloučení cizinců. Hlavním cílem výzkumu, který byl pojat jako mnohočetná případová studie, bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem přispívají integrační centra z pohledu jejich pracovníků k procesu integrace cizinců v České republice, a to především prostřednictvím poskytovaných služeb a jejich propagací. Zjišťovány byly zásadní problémy, které s sebou přináší nastavení integrační politiky ČR pro cizince z třetích zemí. Hlavními zjištěními výzkumu je, že činnost integračních center se odvíjí a je v souladu s Národní koncepcí integrace cizinců na území ČR a že se činnost integračních center řídí asimilačním modelem, kdy se pracovníci center snaží cizince zcela začlenit do české společnosti.
