Nebezpečí na cestě do zásvětí popsaná v egyptské Knize mrtvých

Abstract

This paper deals with the analysis of the ancient egyptian concept of the human being in the context of dangers which are described in the Book of the Dead, in its primary source. Only in the liminal space between life and death is possible to find articulated concepts of manifestation of existence or parts of the human being. Those terms were: kȝ, bȝ, ȝḫ, the shadow, the name,the heart and the body. For definition of liminaly space we will use theories of Arnold van Gennep and for the understanding of the path through the underworld we will use the work of Mary Douglas. The goal of this paper is to define which of the terms were used for manifestation of existence and which for the parts of the human. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Tato práce se zabývá rozborem staroegyptského pojetí člověka v kontextu nebezpečí, která jsou popsaná v tzv. Knize mrtvých, což je i její primární pramen. Teprve v liminální části přechodu mezi životem a smrtí se artikulovaly pojmy, které označovaly buď složku člověka, nebo projev lidského bytí. Těmito pojmy byly: kȝ, bȝ, ȝḫ, stín, jméno, srdce a tělo. Pro definici liminality a pro porozumění postupu skrze zásvětí byly zvoleny teorie Mary Douglas a Arnolda van Gennepa. Cílem práce je definovat, který z projevů mohl být Egypťany chápán jako složka člověka a který jako projev jeho existence. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
