Psychologické aspekty situace v rodinách s otcem na rodičovské dovolené

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na psychologická specifika situace v rodinách, v nichž zůstává na rodičovské dovolené otec, zejména pak na možné souvislosti s vývojem dítěte a charakteristikami vztahů v rodině. Cílem práce je popsat specifické dopady této situace na spokojenost s partnerským vztahem a vzájemným vztahem s dítětem a vnímání vlastní otcovské/mateřské role na straně obou rodičů. Teoretická část práce shrnuje legislativu v této oblasti v České republice a v jiných zemích a uvádí dosavadní výzkumné poznatky o rodinách, kde otec využil možnost otcovské či rodičovské dovolené. Empirická část práce je realizovaná pomocí kvalitativního designu, kde autorka využila dotazník Couples Satisfaction Index a polostrukturované rozhovory. Výzkumným vzorkem bylo patnáct rodičovských párů. Výsledky shrnují výstupy v oblasti partnerské spokojenosti a opakující se motivy v rozhovorech v oblastech adaptace na život s dítětem, motivy rozhodnutí, otcovské péče, identity a prožívání otců a matek, potřeb dítěte, důsledků pro vztah rodičů s dítětem a partnerský vztah a reakcí okolí. Výstupem jsou odpovědi na výzkumné otázky široce pokrývající psychologické aspekty problematiky a hypotézy, které je možné podrobit dalšímu výzkumu v budoucnu. The MA thesis focuses on the psychological particularities of the situation in families where parental leave is taken by the father, especially on the possible connections between the child's development and characteristics of the family relations. The aim is to describe the specific impacts of this situation on partnership satisfaction, relationship with the child and on self- perception of paternal/maternal roles of parents. The theoretical part states the legislation in this field in the Czech Republic and other countries and summarizes the existing research findings. The empirical part applies a qualitative design, using the Couples Satisfaction Index questionnaire supplemented by semi-structured interviews. The research sample consisted of fifteen couples. The result of the research is a summary of findings about couple's satisfaction and recurring themes in interviews in areas of adaptation to life with the child, motivation for the decision, early paternal care, identity and experiencing of parents, the needs of the child, consequences of paternal parental leave for parent-child and partner relationships and reactions of other people.
