Týraní senioři jako cílová skupina pro neziskové organizace

Abstract

V teoretické části předkládané diplomové práce jsem se zaměřila na definici pojmů stárnutí, stáří a demografických aspektů spojených s tímto životním obdobím. Většinu teoretické části jsem věnovala syndromu EAN, jeho projevům a dopadům na život člověka. V posledních kapitolách jsem se zabývala legislativní úpravou syndromu EAN, neziskovými organizacemi, především telefonickou krizovou pomocí a její rolí v problematice týraných seniorů. Teoretickou část práce jsem rovněž doplnila o reálné příběhy týraných seniorů. Z důvodu zachování autentičnosti jsem v druhé, praktické části práce použila pět příkladů z praxe klientů krizové telefonické pomoci neziskové organizace Elpida. Další část šetření tvoří přepisy rozhovorů se zaměstnanci této organizace. Pro přehlednost byly vloženy vlastní komentáře a tabulky se souhrnnými výsledky. Šetřením bylo potvrzeno, že telefonická krizová pomoc je nedílnou součástí prevence a řešení syndromu EAN.

The theoretical part of this thesis contains the definitions of getting old, being old and the demographics that are connected with these periods of life. Most of the theoretical part pertains to EAN Syndrome and its manifestation and impacts on people's lives. I concerns legislation, EAN Syndrome, non-profit organizations, but the majority of this theoretical section deals with emergency services. I also added the real stories of abused seniors. I used fived case histories of emeregency services clients from the non-profit organization named Elpida, because of the relevance of Elpida's work on elderly. The next part contains transcribed interviews with employees of this organization. I have also inserted my own comments and created tables with the results. The research confirmed, that emergency services are integral to the prevention and solution to EAN Syndrome.
