Cílem této diplomové práce je pojednání o relativních časech ve vedlejších větách obsahových v češtině a v němčině a následné srovnání dané problematiky v obou jazycích. V první kapitole se budu zabývat relativními časy v češtině. Problematika relativních časů v češtině je z velké části zpracována v odborné literatuře, ať již se jedná o časopisecké studie (např. J. Bauer, 1965; J. Panevová, 1971; J. V. Bečka, 1975) či o části rozsáhlejších prací (např. Skladba spisovné češtiny, Mluvnice češtiny 3). V první kapitole své práce proto často čerpám z odborné literatury a ověřuji v ní i své vlastní poznatky. Všechny teoretické závěry demonstruji na příkladech ze současné české beletrie. Druhá kapitola je věnována relativním časům v němčině. Na rozdíl od češtiny v němčině existují tři způsoby (principy) užití relativních časů ve větách obsahových: princip 1 a 2 pro indikativ a princip 3, ve kterém se užívá tzv. konjunktivu nepřímé řeči. Tyto principy se plně uplatňují pouze ve větách obsahových závislých na větě řídící v minulém čase, proto se výklad týká ve většině případů těchto vět, i když to není explicitně uvedeno. In meiner Diplomarbeit habe ich mich mit den relativen Zeiten in den tschechischen und deutschen Inhaltssätzen aus kontrastiver Sicht beschäftigt. Im ersten Kapitel wurden die relativen Zeiten im Tschechischen, im zweiten die relativen Zeiten im Deutschen untersucht. Das dritte Kapitel wurde dem Vergleich der relativen Zeiten in beiden Sprachen gewidmet. Sowohl im Tschechischen als auch im Deutschen unterscheidet man so genannte absolute und relative Zeiten. Die absolute Zeit drückt die Gegenwart, Vergangenheit oder Zukunft im Redemoment aus. Die relative Zeit drückt die Gleich-, Voroder Nachzeitigkeit in Bezug auf die Zeit der Handlung des übergeordneten Satzes aus. Die relativen Zeiten kommen in den Inhaltssätzen vor, d. h. in den Gliedsätzen, die den Inhalt eines geistigen Vorgangs (Geschehens oder Handelns) ausdrücken. (H.
