Masaryk a jeho význam pro dnešek

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se věnuje Masarykovu myšlení, které svým přesahem má význam i pro současnost. Především jde o otázky o smyslu lidské existence a směřování celé společnosti. Práce se dále věnuje českému národu a jeho vztahu k pravdě, německému elementu a evropské společnosti. Autor při zpracování textu vycházel z hlavních Masarykových děl, na jejichž základě uceleně představil Masarykovy názory na danou problematiku. Následně je doplnil o svůj komentář, čímž celou problematiku vztáhl k současnosti. V této části práce se snažil ukázat, že Masarykův program založený na víře v Boha není již pro současnou společnost nosný. Přesto si z něj můžeme vzít jeho rozměr morální. Naproti tomu Masarykův důraz na všelidský program, demokracii a lidský práva můžeme převzít beze zbytku.

The Bachelor's Thesis is dedicated to Masaryk's ideas, which has their significance for today. The questions of the meaning of human existence and the course of whole society are dealt with first. The thesis is focusing on Czech nation and it studies its relationship to the truth, Germans and European community. The author based the paper on the analysis of Masaryk's major works and then the related ideas were put together. Masaryk's thoughts were accompanied by author's comments and their meaning was related to these days. In this part of the thesis it is shown that Masaryk's program based on belief in God is not significant for current society anymore. The moral dimension of this programme can be used after all. On the other hand, Masaryk's emphasis on panhuman programme, democracy and human rights can be utilized at all.
