Ovlivnění myofasciálního trigger pointu pomocí aplikace suché jehly

Abstract

Historie terapie suchou jehlou svými kořeny zasahuje až do první poloviny 20. století. Vzhledem k obrovskému rozšíření problematiky myofasciálních trigger pointů ve společnosti se společně s jinými metodami dostává i terapie suchou jehlou stále více do popředí po celém světě. Tato bakalářská práce psaná rešeršní formou pojednává o možnosti využití terapie suchou jehlou při léčbě myofasciální bolesti a myofasciálního syndromu. V první části se práce zaměřuje na charakteristiku myofasciálního trigger pointu, v další části je podrobně popsaná samotná terapie suchou jehlou. Důraz je kladem na vysvětlení mechanismu účinku, popisu postupu, bezpečnostních zásad a možných kontraindikací. Následně jsou popsány techniky, které lze při terapii suchou jehlou aplikovat, a účinky, včetně možných nepříznivých, doložené vědeckými studiemi. Představena je také kazuistika pacienta, který by byl vhodným kandidátem pro tuto terapii. V příloze je přiloženo schéma, které popisuje možný návrh postupu při indikaci terapie suchou jehlou. The historical roots of dry needling go back to the fist half of the 20th century. According to huge spread of issues connected with myofascial trigger points in society, dry needling is together with other therapeutic methods more and more on the front burner all around the world. This bachelor thesis is theoretical and introduces dry needling as possible treatment of myofascial pain and myofascial pain syndrome. The first part is focused on characteristic of myofascial trigger points, in the next part is written detailed description of dry needling. Emphasis is put on explanation of mechanism of dry needling, its description, safety principles and possible contraindications. Different techniques, that can be used, and possible effects, including side effects, are described afterwards. Next part is devoted to case report of patient, who could be recommended for dry needling.
