Abstract

Název: Kazuistika fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta s diagnózou whiplash syndrom Cíle: Cílem této práce je shrnutí dostupných teoretických poznatků o poruchách spojených s whiplash syndromem (WAD) a zpracování kazuistiky pacienta s touto diagnózou. Metody: V první části práce je teoreticky rozebrán WAD shrnutím dostupných teoretických poznatků o vzniku, diagnostice a léčbě whiplash syndromu z pohledu fyzioterapie. Práce se také zabývá popisem anatomických struktur v inkriminované oblasti a biomechanice krční páteře. Speciální částí je kazuistika pacienta s diagnózou popsanou v teoretické části a prezentací průběhu terapie včetně zhodnocení její efektivity na konci práce. Title: Physical therapy of a patient with whiplash syndrome Objectives: The aim of this work is to sum up the available theoretical information about the whiplash associated disorder and to render a case study of a patient with this diagnosis. Methods: In the first part we take the WAD into pieces by summing up the available theoretical information about the patogenesis, diagnostics and the treatment of the whiplash syndrome. The thesis also describes the anatomical features in the concerned area and the biomechanics of cervical spine. The special part is a case study of a patient with the described diagnosis and the presentation of a physical therapy treatment including its effectivity evaluation at the end of this thesis.
