Analýza koncepcí veřejných knihoven na podporu rozvoje čtenářství žáků 2.stupně ZŠ

Abstract

RESUMÉ Diplomová práce Analýza koncepcí veřejných knihoven na podporu rozvoje čtenářství žáků 2. stupně ZŠ ve své teoretické části charakterizuje období pubescence (11 - 15 let) a hledá faktory, které mají vliv na jeho čtenářství. Vedle školy existuje i další instituce, která může pozitivně ovlivňovat vztah žáků ke čtení a tou je knihovna. Zajímalo nás, jak knihovny vymezují dětské oddělení v rámci knihovny, jaké služby dětským čtenářům nabízejí a do jakých akcí na podporu čtenářství se zapojují. V praktické části jsme se věnovali konkrétním vzdělávacím programům, které knihovny školám zdarma nabízejí, a zjišťovali jsme, zda jsou pro žáky přínosné či nikoli. Ve třech knihovnách jsme provedli pozorování několika lekcí, mluvili s knihovníky o jejich práci a tvorbě programů a na základě toho jsme sestavili deset bodů, jak poznat kvalitní program. Cílem práce bylo přinést vhled do této problematiky a ukázat, že spolupráce obou institucí přináší užitek všem zúčastněným stranám.

RESUMÉ In the theoretical part, the thesis Analysis of the public libraries' concepts to support development of reading of pupils at lower secondary school characterizes the period of pubescence (11-15 years) and looks for factors that have an impact on reading of these pupils. Apart from school there is another institution that can positively affect the attitude to reading of pupils and this institution is the library. We wondered how libraries define the children's department within the library, what services are offered to children who read and what events to encourage reading they take part in. In the practical part we focused on specific training programmes that libraries offer to schools free of charge and we tried to find out whether these programmes are beneficial or not for these pupils. We conducted observations of several lessons in three libraries, we were talking with librarians about their work and about the creation of these programmes and based on that we have put together ten points - how to recognize a quality program. The aim of this thesis was to provide insight into this issue and to show that cooperation between the two institutions brings benefit to all parties involved.
