Praktická aplikace mezinárodního protokolu prevence stranové záměny v ČR

Abstract

V průběhu mého studia na 3.lf UK jsem s přibývajícími semestry a stážemi na klinických pracovištích stále více inklinoval k chirurgickým oborům. Každý medik stane v průběhu studia před otázkou, který obor si nakonec vybere za svůj a bude se mu dále věnovat v klinické praxi. Tak i já jsem si vybral. Rozhodl jsem se začít mezi obory chirurgickými. Když jsem se při výuce v posledních ročnících setkal s tématem prevence poškození pacientů v chirurgii, začal jsem se o tuto problematiku zajímat. Motivem pro mě byl vcelku osobní zájem zjistit, jakým způsobem lze předejít tomu, aby moje nastávající praxe byla vinou mé chyby kratší, než bych si přál. Tím, že jsem se začal o možnost prevence poškození pacienta v chirurgii zajímat, jsem si zodpověděl řadu otázek, se kterými bych se jistě setkal později při mé nastávající praxi. Výběr diplomové práce na toto téma je logickým vyústěním mého zájmu o tuto problematiku.
