Kolorektální karcinom (epidemiologie, prevence, diagnostika a léčba)

Abstract

Česká republika se dlouhodobě pohybuje na čelních příčkách světových tabulek incidence a mortality kolorektálního karcinomu. I přes propracovaná preventivní opatření se stále nedaří zachytit většinu z těchto nádorů v časném stádiu, které má výbornou prognózu. Diagnostika a léčba rakoviny tlustého střeva a konečníku je v Česku na vysoké úrovni, ale prognóza každého pacienta závisí na tom, jestli přijde s obtížemi včas.

The Czech Republic has been leading the world order of incidence and mortality of colorectal carcinoma for a long time. Despite of the fact the prevention strategy is elaborated very well, we still can't manage to diagnose most of the tumors in early stadium, when the prognosis of disease is the best. There are diagnostic and treatment of colorectal cancer on the high level in Czech Republic, but its prognosis depends on an individual patient and his approach and responsibility to come to the doctor in time with the first symptoms.
