Genderové stereotypy ve fotbale

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis examines the issue of gender stereotypes in women's soccer in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the nature of these stereotypes and to explore the relationship between the media-constructed image of female soccer players and their actual subjective experiences within professional and semi-professional sports. The theoretical section of the thesis defines key concepts, such as the social construction of gender, drawing on an analysis of the historical development and institutional support of sports in both domestic and international contexts. Methodologically, the thesis is designed as a theoretical-empirical study utilizing a mixed-methods research design. The quantitative part, conducted as an online questionnaire survey, focuses on identifying dominant prejudices among the Czech public and female soccer players themselves. The qualitative part consists of 5 in-depth semi-structured interviews with players from the 1st and 2nd women's leagues in the Czech Republic, which are subjected to thematic coding analysis. Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou genderových stereotypů v prostředí ženského fotbalu v České republice. Cílem práce je analyzovat povahu těchto stereotypů a prozkoumat vztah mezi mediálně konstruovaným obrazem fotbalistek a jejich reálnou subjektivní zkušeností v rámci profesionálního a poloprofesionálního sportu. Teoretická část práce vymezuje klíčové koncepty, jako je sociální konstrukce genderu, přičemž vychází z analýzy historického vývoje a institucionální podpory sportu v domácím i zahraničním kontextu. Metodologicky je práce koncipována jako teoreticko-empirická studie s využitím kombinovaného výzkumného designu. Kvantitativní část, realizovaná formou online dotazníkového šetření, se zaměřuje na identifikaci dominantních předsudků u české veřejnosti a samotných hráček fotbalu. Kvalitativní část tvoří 5 hloubkových polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s hráčkami 1. a 2. ligy žen v ČR, které jsou podrobeny tematické kódové analýze. Hlavním cílem práce je prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů analyzovat postoje vybraného vzorku respondentů k ženskému fotbalu a identifikovat konkrétní zkušenosti s genderovými stereotypy u hráček 1. a 2. ligy žen v České republice.
