Abstract

Title: Analysis of scored goals in selected European football competitions Objectives: Analysis of the mechanisms of goal situations in modern football, focusing on the initiation of attacking phases, the execution of the final phase, and comparing tactical trends across European competitions. Methods: Using video analysis, 3319 goals from 11 competitions played between January and April 2026 (elite leagues, UEFA tournaments, Chance Liga) were evaluated. The Cohen's d effect size coefficient was utilized to assess the practical significance of five hypotheses. Results: The most productive mechanism for initiating actions was the fast attack (35.3 %), which overall surpassed the positional attack (33.1 %), thereby rejecting the first hypothesis, although the practical difference was negligible (d = -0.15). The second hypothesis was rejected because set pieces maintained a stable 24.4 % of the total sample size and showed an extremely large effect size compared to pressing (7.2 %, d = 2.30). Název: Analýza vstřelených branek z vybraných evropských fotbalových soutěží Cíl: Analýza mechanismů vzniku gólových situací v moderním fotbale se zaměřením na zakládání útočných fází, realizaci finální fáze a komparaci taktických trendů napříč evropskými soutěžemi. Metody: Pomocí video analýzy bylo vyhodnoceno 3319 branek z 11 soutěží odehraných od ledna do dubna 2026 (elitní ligy, turnaje UEFA, Chance liga). K posouzení věcné významnosti pěti hypotéz byl využit koeficient Cohenovo d. Výsledky: Nejproduktivnějším mechanismem zakládání akcí byl rychlý útok (35.3 %), který celkově překonal postupný útok (33.1 %), čímž byla zamítnuta první hypotéza, přestože věcný rozdíl byl zanedbatelný (d = -0.15). Druhá hypotéza byla zamítnuta, protože standardní situace tvořily 24.4 % vzorku a oproti pressingu (7.2 %) vykazují extrémně velký účinek (d = 2.30). Ve finální fázi se potvrdila třetí hypotéza, kde centry ze strany (17.9 %) výrazně předčily pressing na útočné třetině (7.0 %) s vysokou významností (d = -1.63). U čtvrté hypotézy se potvrdil zanedbatelný rozdíl (d = 0.19) mezi střelou nad 16 metrů a dlouhou přihrávkou při překonávání hlubokého bloku.
