Role pacienta z hlediska vlastní zkušenosti studentky Všeobecného ošetřovatelství

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis examines the process of recovery following a fall from a horse and a subsequent pelvic injury from the perspective of a patient who is also a student of General Nursing. Using the method of autoethnography, daily journal entries were recorded and are retrospectively analyzed in the empirical section of the thesis. The text reflects on topics such as the transformation of identity across various social levels during hospitalization and subsequent rehabilitation. The theoretical section focuses on the concepts of human needs, identity, and the specifics of autoethnographic research. The empirical section is based on an analysis of the author's own diary entries and a reflection on key events from the onset of the injury through to a return to normal functioning in life, as it was prior to the fall. The study reflects on the internal conflict between the role of the patient and the identity of a future registered nurse, where the author's professional knowledge helped her understand her condition but simultaneously deepened her awareness of the loss of self-sufficiency. The entire analysis offers a unique insight into the patient's perspective and emphasizes the importance of individualized nursing care. Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá procesem rekonvalescence po pádu z koně a následného úrazu v oblasti pánve z pohledu pacientky, která je zároveň studentkou Všeobecného ošetřovatelství. Metodou autoetnografie byly denně tvořeny deníkové zápisy, které jsou v empirické části práce retrospektivně analyzovány. Text reflektuje témata, jako je transformace identity v různých sociálních rovinách v průběhu hospitalizace a následné rehabilitace. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na koncepty lidských potřeb, identity a specifika autoetnografického výzkumu. Empirická část vychází z analýzy vlastních deníkových záznamů a reflexe klíčových událostí od vzniku úrazu až po návrat k běžnému fungování v životě, jako tomu bylo do doby pádu. Práce reflektuje vnitřní konflikt mezi rolí pacientky a identitou budoucí všeobecné sestry, kdy odborné znalosti autorky sice napomáhaly porozumění stavu, ale zároveň prohlubovaly uvědomění ze ztráty soběstačnosti. Celá analýza nabízí unikátní vhled do pacientského úhlu pohledu a zdůrazňuje význam individualizované ošetřovatelské péče.
