Abstract

Název: Kazuistika ortoticko-protetické péče o pacienta s diagnózou transtibiální amputace Cíle: Cílem bakalářské práce bylo teoreticky vymezit problematiku transtibiální amputace, objasnit příčinu vedoucí k amputaci u konkrétního pacienta a představit možnosti protetického řešení. Na základě získaných teoretických poznatků byla v praktické části zpracována kazuistika pacienta včetně postupu výroby protetické pomůcky. Metody: Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se věnuje transtibiální amputaci, jejím důsledkům v kontextu diagnózy diabetes mellitus a komplikací spojených s diabetickou nohou. Praktická část obsahuje kazuistiku pacienta s transtibiální amputací na podkladě diabetu mellitu 2. typu. Je zde popsána anamnéza pacienta a jednotlivé kroky při výrobě protetické pomůcky. Výsledky: Kazuistika byla zpracována v rámci odborné praxe absolvované v Centru technické ortopedie s.r.o. v Českých Budějovicích v období únor-březen 2025. Výsledkem byla nově zhotovená protetická pomůcka, která přispěla ke zlepšení kvality života pacienta. Klíčová slova: transtibiální amputace, protéza, diabetes mellitus, protetika, kazuistika

Title: Case report of orthotic and prosthetic care in a patient with transtibial amputation Objective: The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to theoretically define the issue of transtibial amputation, explain the cause of amputation in a specific patient, and present possible prosthetic solutions. Based on the acquired theoretical knowledge, the practical part includes a case study of the patient along with the process of prosthetic device fabrication. Methods: The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical section focuses on transtibial amputation and its consequences in the context of diabetes mellitus and related complications, particularly diabetic foot. The practical part presents a case study of a patient with transtibial amputation due to type 2 diabetes mellitus. It describes the patient's medical history and the individual steps involved in the fabrication of the prosthetic device. Results: The case study was carried out as part of a professional internship at the Centrum Technické Ortopedie s.r.o. in České Budějovice during the period of February-March 2025. As a result, a new prosthetic device was fabricated, contributing to an improved quality of life for the patient.
